About Grand River

Doug Norton, Owner and President

Grand River Boiler & Hydronic Supply Co. was officially formed May 9, 2006 with an emphasis in providing the best quality boiler and hydronic products. Since then, we have seen the light--literally. We have realized the power and potential savings that can come from heating a home using the free energy given off from the sun every day. We still focus on hydronics and heating. We've just placed added emphasis in powering our systems with alternative energy.

You may heat your home using the efficiency of a thermal solar system using either our solar flat panels or our evacuated tubes. Not only will both systems save the environment, they will save your wallet. This truly is green energy. Although evacuated tubes may be better for the production of hot water to heat your home and fulfill all your hot water needs, flat panels do have the advantage of producing unadulterated electricity for use in any application.

Because heating comes from multiple places, we also include boilers and heaters that are powered by wood pellets and bio-mass. These heaters and boilers run more efficiently than a typical cord wood burning stove. Wood pellets burn longer and hotter with only a fraction of the pollution produced in the making of electricity to power forced air furnaces. These wood pellet and bio-mass boilers are ideal for heating everything from small homes to facilities that require a lot of hot water such as schools and universities. We are proud partners with the USDA and the US Forest Service in promoting these boilers for the Fuels for Schools program.

Browsing through our site and see some history behind these applications as well as fun facts, tips, and steps toward their maintenance. We invite you to check out one of our favorite pastimes, wood pellet barbequing. Our wood pellet BBQs will give you a perfectly flavored and grilled/smoked/baked/seared piece of meat every time.

Sit back, relax, explore and learn why so many others have decided to trust in Grand River.
